I found this suit and immediately thought of Linda Evans in the 80's TV show Dynasty. She and her cohort in crime, Joan Collins, wore some of the most glamours outfits you will ever see on prime time and I can envision either one duking it out in this magnificent suit. The suit is made by A.J. Bari, aka Kay Unger, of 100% silk. The jacket sits slightly off the shoulder, classic and romantic. A flattering "A" line skirt completes the suit. Best of all, orange is this seasons hottest color!
For something a little more casual this vintage maxi dress will do the trick. I love authentic 60's Hawaiian dresses and someday will share with you a few I have kept tucked away in a closest for myself. I would have kept this one as well if I thought I could ever manage to squeeze into it. This dress is not made in Hawaii, but the pattern and style would fool most. Made of polyester knit the dress was designed by Ruth Walter.
This skirt has it all, maxi length, high waist, cool cotton fabric. A great 1980's Alexander Campbell design. Add a vintage white blouse and wide brimmed straw hat and treat yourself to a stroll through a fabulous public garden like beautiful Elizabeth Park below.
