I was browsing through the blog, Child of the Moon, today when I came upon this photo of Grace Kelly,
If it looks familiar, thats because this dress was the inspiration for the Grace Kelly Barbie I blogged about here last week,
Felt like I found a treasure when I saw the original photograph. Check out the Child of the Moon post, Flower Power, for more great original 60's flower filled fashion photos.

The winner of the AIA Competition for the the Architect Barbie's new Dream House was revealed this week. This eco friendly designer home was the collaboration of two Harvard trained architects, Ting Li and Maja Paklar.
Exterior of Barbies four story eco-friendly home with rooftop greenhouse
Interior features low flow toilets and sinks, and bamboo floors
Being a true "Barbie Girl" I was so enchanted by this wonderful house that I was inspired to check out the latest Barbies on the market. I picked out several dolls that I absolutely loved and began to wonder what outfits in my Etsy shop would I dress them in if I could. Below are the results.
Joan Collins Barbie in Vintage Leslie Fay
Linda Evans Barbie in Vintage A.J. Bari
Farrah Fawcett Barbie in a Vintage Wiggle Dress
Grace Kelly Barbie in a 1950s Vintage Summer Dress
I have to admit the Grace Kelly doll is my favorite, but maybe I'm just partial to princesses!
