Perfect Polyester!

Recently I've blogged about my love for polyester from the 60's (here) and 70's (here).  I grew up wearing polyester but as a "yuppie" in the 80's would not have been caught dead in it!  Now I can't seem get enough of this spirited, easy to care for fabric. Some more great examples from the archives of Augusta Auctions.

I've included some examples of wool knit dresses because they are sometimes hard to tell from poly knit. One way to tell them apart is to try the dress on, poly usually is not scratchy.
